FlickR - Allows you to upload photography and have other people/artists give you feedback
MySpace - Blog, used mainly for social networking, but which allows you to promote yourself if you make your own music
Deviant art - Like "FlickR", you can upload your art work and literature and advertise your work to be sold
Windows Live - Can be used for mail, online storage, social networking, play games, share photos and comment on others photos.
Moonpig - Make cards online and send them via the internet to people.
Nike - You can design your own trainers.
XBox - You can access the internet, play games, download music, buy online, creat characters.
Ipod - Use different applications to play games, download, make videos and take pictures, create music and documents.
YouTube - Advertise yourself/business, make and upload videos, recieve feedback from others.

This is where a text is represented by different forms of media.
These types of media might be; the internet (downloading music, viewing videos, website information, you can buy (CD's, magazine's, DVD's).

A good example of intermedial text would be a product such as DR.Who, you can watch the program, read about it, be interactive via the internet.
